GoDaddy Selects DNAcademy’s Accelerated Learning Program for Afternic Broker Training

I’m pleased to announce that DNAcademy is
now the chosen training provider for GoDaddy Afternic brokers. GoDaddy joins other top providers in the industry,
including Uniregistry brokers and the WorldHostingDays/NamesCon staff, who are using DNAcademy as their standard
training curriculum. The announcement is below for you to read. But let me tell you why I think both GoDaddy
and Uniregistry have chosen DNAcademy as their training partner through a story about Vince
Lombardi, one of the greatest American football coaches of all time. It was July 1961 on the first day of training
camp, and there were 38 members of the Green Bay Packers football team in the locker room. The Packers had lost the prior season to the
Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League Championship game. Lombardi, the head coach of the team, knew
that if the players were to take their game to the next level, they would have to start
back at the beginning—relearn the basics and build up from there, everyone on a strong,
common footing. And so Lombardi started at the beginning,
holding up a football in his hand and saying: “Gentlemen, this is a football.” With those five words, Lombardi began the
journey that would lead the Packers six months later to win the NFL Championship, beating
the New York Giants 37 to 0. Lombardi won five NFL Championships in the
next seven years. He bettered the game of football in so many
ways that the National Football League named the Super Bowl trophy after him, calling it
the Vince Lombardi trophy. Focusing on the fundamentals is what built
the Packers championship empire. How did he do it? Vince Lombardi started with the basics and
built a proper knowledge base, so everyone on the team used the same language, mastered
the same fundamentals for their positions, learned how to properly work together, and
understood what it took to be the greatest at the game. It’s my aspiration to do the same for all
brokers, investors, webmasters and entrepreneurs with DNAcademy. How do we do that? It all starts with valuations. In order to do a proper valuation, you need
to understand comparable sales. To do comparable sales, you need to understand
retail value, maximum retail value and wholesale value. You also need to understand the 23 characteristics
that define the quality of a domain name, much like you might say there are 20 some
odd characteristics that define a home, like number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, square
footage, lot size, zip code, quality of the school district, and so on. At DNAcademy, we break down big, important
concepts into the fundamentals, and then into the basics. We help brokers, investors, webmasters and
entrepreneurs understand how to properly do valuations. We help people understand the convoluted and
opaque process of buying domains, selling domains and managing a portfolio. We can help you too. Thanks for watching. I hope to see you on the inside at
